I started this site to give a little insight to my business. I know many people aren't always able to stop by my residence and see some of my work so this was implemented to help accompany those needs. My business is strictly braids/natural hair styles and braid maintenance if you have any questions about your hair care while braided I hope I can help you.

I'll also be using this website for upcoming clients that will do business with me in the future.

What to do before I get my braids and how do I keep them up?

Well some people use braids to control their unruly hair and some just like to wear them. Whatever the case is they are becoming a very popular hair-style. Before getting you hair braided you should read the following:

Perm, relaxed, or textured hair is not acceptable when getting braids and natural hair styles. Why? Because you hair is at it's weakest when chemical are added, it's best to wait until your hair grows(new growth) so that the braids can hold better on the "nappy" hair. This is especially important if you're considering wearing a natural hair style such as coils and locks; hair that is processed can not be coiled because it no longer has it natural curl.

What not to do before your appointment:

1. Perm, relax, texture, blow-out or straighten your hair of any kind

2. Don't oil it because I'll do that for you

3. Don't dye or bleach your hair the day before or of appointment

4. Do not cut, cutting will give your hair a blunt end and the hair will stick out from the braids.

What to do before you appointment:

1. Wash

2. Detangle

3. Condition

4. Dry your hair

5. If you bleach or dye your hair to match the color of you weave you should do it 2 weeks prior to your appointment

How to take care of your braids:

Wash your braids with a shampoo and conditioner that you can see through (that contains no dyes). Remember to always keep your scalp moist and don't let your braids stay in longer than needed depending on the style. If your hair is short some braids may fall out just because of the shortness of your hair. If this becomes a problem just come back to me and I'll replace them for free.
